Acoustical / Sound Control Fabrics


There are different acoustic fabrics used to wrap acoustical panels, cover speakers and amplifiers, or directly mount to a wall.

Acoustical fabric for wrapping acoustical wall panels, such as our Guilford of Maine fabrics, are designed to let sound energy into an acoustical panel to do its job, rather than reflecting sound off the surface.

Acoustone speaker fabric is designed to allow sound to travel through unrestricted from the speaker.

The Crosspoint fabric is Class A fire rated, and is designed to absorb mid to high frequency sound, in order to reduce ambient noise and chatter in office areas.

We have a complete line of Class A fire rated polyester fabrics that are used to cover acoustical panels, baffles, ceiling clouds and acoustical substrates. There are a variety of colors and textures to meet your design and acoustical needs.

Sound Absorbing Fabrics
Our Crosspoint sound-absorbing acoustical fabric is made of a recycled polyester blend fiber for its inherent stain resistance, durability and easy maintenance. It is available in a wide variety of colors and is easily applied with a heavy-duty wall-covering adhesive, leaving a seamless finish. Crosspoint fabric meets the most stringent Class A fire ratings for commercial building code requirements.


Speaker Fabrics
Acoustical Solutions is the only National Distributor of Acoustone brand Acoustical Fabrics providing the largest selection of color choices. The Acoustone Amplifier Grille Cloth Cover is designed and engineered for sound transmissibility and aesthetic appearance. Speaker Cloth is an engineered fabric that allows the sound to pass through the synthetic round threads with minimum interference, and Acoustone's Stretch fabric is a great option for speakers, amplifiers or an acoustical stretch wall covering.
